"Home Hotel was born the day we got married in Buenos Aires. With friends flying in from all over the word to celebrate, it suddenly became clear there was a lack of suitable accommodation in Palermo Viejo, where everyone wanted to stay. We wanted our friends and their friends to visit, to experience this fantastic neighbourhood and city. So we created 'Home', a brand new, custom-build hotel designed to provide the best facilities (using environmentally responsible principles) for all out guests." Patricia & Tom Rixton (Owners).
About us
Patricia O'Shea grew up in Palermo Viejo. She has spent much of the last 16 years traveling Europe and Asia running her own PR company, working for clients such Tiger Beer and Irish Distillers. Patricia met her husband Tom Rixton four years ago in Dublin, Ireland, a DJ, record producer and sound engineer who has worked with many bands including Elastica, Depeche Mode, Bomb the Bass, and more recently Tom Vek. In 2004 they returned home to set up Home Buenos Aires in Palermo Viejo.
